A number of institutions offer courses, but the majority are very theoretical and do not cover employer’s areas of focus. Thus, the application of skills to the workplace is disjointed leaving students unable to obtain a job.
To overcome this gap, QCT run a series of “Reality” training sessions. These provide participants the opportunity to complete tasks that occur in Australian accounting jobs. Courses are aimed at complementing tertiary studies.
